Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well I was looking for something that wouldn't hurt my foot all day, I no Im not a runner but boy, my feet feels like Im floating on air. I have a job that requires me to be on my feet for 8hrs. And these shoes are wonderful. June 8, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Light+fast, but... I had 2 pairs of the previous version of this shoe and LOVED them...5 stars, fabulous, didn't even want to look at other shoes. They are light and fast and immediately comfortable and make me feel like a badass trail runner. The best fit for me was 1/2 size bigger than my usual size. So naturally I purchased this version...but now I have to downgrade to only 2 stars because of slight changes in size and placement to the cushion around the achilles heel. Even after putting 50 miles on these shoes and trying many different socks, I still get a major blister on one heel. I'm so disappointed...luckily I can still put some mileage on my old ones. Rated 5 out of 5 by Performs so well on rough terrain My favorite feature is the sole of these shoes grips the ground and helps you traverse areas with loose dirt and rocks without fear of slipping and sliding. These are also the most light weight, comfortable shoes I have worn. Montrail is my brand of choice and has been now for at least 10 years. Montrail has so many excellent features associated with their shoes that you can always find exactly what fits your needs. March 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love these shoes I was looking for an in-between shoe. I usually walk on paved roads, although I do hike as well. I have worn these shoes hiking in the Olympic forest as well as dirt trails in Oregon. I love them, they are very comfortable, I don't have any issues with comfort and I don't feel the earth below my feet, as in they are not flimsy or too light. September 24, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Like a slipper Took these shoes out on the trail a few days ago. The shoes are extremely flexible and provided very little protection for my feet. The midsole didn't snug up to my narrow foot and I found my foot moving around too much. This shoe is not good for technical trails "roots and uneven surfaces" in the least. Stay on the flats and level dirt paths. June 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good I really like these shoes, they're light and the material is great for leaving no pressure points. And I'm really happy that the foot bed is removable so i can use my custom orthotics or purchase their mouldable foot bed. December 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Balance I live in the mountains and run both on dirt road and more technical trails. I needed a shoe that could handle all kinds of terrain but wasn't bulky or heavy. These shoes have performed outstandingly. I was a little nervous upon getting them as the cushioning around the ankle was less than what I was used to, but for the single track and dirt roads I run they work fine. That being said, I would not get these shoes if you are in need of extreme ankle support or are running extremely technical and rocky terrain. I have high arches and ran on Asics when I ran on pavement. These shoes fit similar but are better adapted for trails. I would definitely recommend these shoes for runners looking for something comfortable and versatile. I will definitely be buying Montrails again! August 20, 2014
