Men's FluidFlex™ 4.3 5 5 6
Great potential The Fluidflex has great potential with a few modifications. Overall the the platform and the upper have nice features. The upper is light, ventilated and slim. The sole is super flexible yet it offers excellent protection from rocks. The tread hooks up with the trail when bombing down hill like a nice mountain bike tire. The modifications I would make are a little wider toe box, I would lower the height of the heel cup by about 4 or 5 millimeters so that it wouldn't dig into the achilles tendon. That's not a huge problem but I just like as little material around my ankles as possible. Lastly, I can't figure out why because I am predominantly a forefoot striker but on longer runs the bottom of my heel gets a little sore in the Fluidflex which doesn't happen in my other shoes. It might be the way the sole turns up at the back of the heel. Great shoe for me for runs from 5 to 12 miles. August 15, 2014
My favorite so far This is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn. The moment they go on, it feels like a Rambo movie montage just ended where instead of strapping guns and ammunition to my body, I've instead geared up with the only 'weapon' I need to attack the trails. The fit is perfect, the rapid drainage is awesome, and the grip on mixed surface is super tight. I wants another pair just for day to day use- they are that comfortable and natural feeling. I used to run in Mountain Masochists. These are my new joint. July 3, 2014
Good running shoe Feels light and responsive June 14, 2014
Light and cushoned This is my first dedicated trail shoe. It is great on all of the surfaces that I have ran across. With the confidence inspiring lugs, mud and rocks are easily conquered. The upper is very basic and dries quickly. It is not supportive enough for too much road running. My only complaint is the back of the heel gouges into my achilles. It would be 5 stars if not for that. March 4, 2014
Love the shoes Not ideal for muddy conditions, but works very well on dry land, rocks and asphalts . Love how they don't have a single point of pressure on my feet. I have large and high feet, of the dozen pair I tried last spring, these were the most comfortable. 400Kms later, I still love them. December 19, 2013
