LOVE, LOVE this shoe ! I've had Bajadas for a couple of years now ! Lot's of trail runners are too stiff for me & so not achille friendly. This shoe has the responsiveness I need & still sufficient support and a decent tread design. I've worn Montrails for years, and cannot say enough about your shoe designs in general. I also do hope you continue the gortex version of this shoe, as very much used in the PNW :-) Thank you, thank you Montrail - carry on ! December 24, 2014
new favorite trail shoe! out of desperation I tried this trail shoe out on a 50k race and couldn't have been happier with the performance. Just enough support and stability while not too clunky and heavy with excellent traction. September 23, 2013
Excellent shoes but the upper needs to improve Bought then on feb/2012, just love them but now - 3 months later and 130 miles after - the upper has teardown in both shoes because debris and branches tore them down, they should have lasted more, if you change the materials used in the upper I would consider them in the future, right now I'll be looking for other brands, but besides that, they would have being my goto trail running shoes for a long time May 8, 2013
Nice shoe, but needs improvements I liked the light weight and low profile of this shoe. I have been running in minimus and five fingers, but was needing a little bit more for longer runs. Negatives: I do not like that the tongue is not attached. For trail running especially, it is nice to have the attached tongue. I got more rocks in these shoes than any other shoe. I bought them a month or so before my 50K race. I have 3 holes in both shoes in less than a month and this was before race day. I have a pair of Brooks trail shoes with no holes and many more miles. So I was disappointed in the quality. I have a lot of running friends that run in Montrails and they love them. I do like the shoe for comfort, weight and medium profile, but it needs some improvements. May 29, 2012
Favorite Shoe of All Time I am a very picky shoe girl. I have flat feet so comfort is key for running, hiking, or just walking to the store. I was a die hard Asics fan, working on my 5th pair. But when I was talked into trying these shoes on, I was sold. I have never worn a more comfortable shoe. I am now a believer and will continue to purchase Montrail for every shoe need (besides my stilettos of course). February 29, 2012
